Hello, marketeers! Thanks for visiting once again, and for new followers, welcome! I’m truly grateful that you are here xx

So, the last few newsletters have been on ‘branding’, and I’m so excited to bring you something special on that. But first …

I’m hijacking my own post with a little bit about me, because it’s only fair that I share something personal when I’ve been asking you to do the same. So here it goes (I promise, it’ll be quick!)

Five things you may not have known about me:

• I love being the one BEHIND the scenes. Ok, maybe that was obvious, but did you know I used to run my own event photography business (with my husband)?

• I’m a leftie, which means I use both sides of my brain. And according to this (very) credible source, that means I am good at all subjects, AND ‘Genius’! Yay!

• My writer tagline is ‘Sparking curiosity and imagination.’ You wouldn’t have known that because I just created it. And it might change. Again.

• These guys are my favourite work buddies and sources of inspiration (and generally keep my brain functioning) …

  

• I love mind maps (and other graphic organisers), but I hate lists (here I am creating a list… hmmm…). My best ideas have come out of brainstorming webs (even if they were just in my head. Or maybe that was the cobwebs in there …)

  So, that’s me … in the picture below… with some of the wonderful books I’ve worked with … and a bird.

And here’s a task for you:

Create a mind map. About you. Write down some things you want to share about what makes you function, where you get inspiration, why you create, something quirky about you … you get it! These will be your guide into some fun and interesting content to use on your website and socials (we’ll dive into content creation further on in the series).
